While the last coat of paint is drying, print out the template. But you can definitely use regular wood stain instead! I like to use watered down latex paint as a stain for my wood frames because the paint dries very fast and there aren’t fumes like a wood stain. I brushed it on, and then almost immediately, I wiped the paint back off.
